Just that kind of day

Today's weather was wonderful!  Perfect temperatures, bright sunshine; the kind of day we're going to long for in July at the Fair when it's 110°.  After our trip to the YMCA, we played outside.  I managed to remember to take pictures here at the house, but we just had a blast.  After lunch and our nap, we were at it again.  We even took a walk down to the pond at the entrance to our house and just watched the frogs, fish, & cars.  Luckily, Daddy made it home early enough to play a little (really to water the trees and grass seed, but we'll call it playing) before we had to leave.

Bubbles!

But tonight was set to be just as fun.  Time for the annual Bomgar night at the Mississippi Braves.  We are so lucky that Bryant not only has a job, but a good one with a great company.  It's given up lots of friends too and it's always fun to get together with the employees, significant others, & the kids.  Plus, baseball is probably my favorite sport so that just makes it even better.  Some of the pics didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped but we did get a few.

Enjoying the hamburger & chips!

Go Braves!

Strike him out!

Playing with our new baseball
While you can't see it as well in the picture above, you can get the general idea...We fell...again.  This time, we thought we were bigger than we really are and fell down a concrete step.  I guess Emerson decided the bruise on the opposite side needed a little symmetry.

Good game, good food, good friends...can't really ask for more.  Especially on Friday the 13th.  This is one of those days that reminds you that you're blessed way more that you could ever deserve.

I'm tired!  It's time to go home!
