It's great to know someone with a 1 ton pickup!

So our backyard is great.  We've got a privacy fence and plenty of playroom.  However, it's not so great when it rains and for a few days after that rain.  The areas closer to the house stay all soggy and muddy.  Trying to leave out of the gate is a guarantee that your shoes will squish and sink in the mud.  Luckily, since Grams and Pop had to be in town this weekend anyway, Pop agreed to help get sand to try to help alleviate some of the problem.

Emerson was so tired after Kindermusik/Sign & Sing today that he actually fell asleep on the way home from Clinton.  He hasn't done that in a long time.  While he was asleep, Daddy and Pop unloaded the sand and Daddy got it all spread out.  We need a little more, but this should work well!  After Emerson's nap, we decided to go check out the sand.  We weren't really a fan of the beach, so we weren't sure how he'd react to the sand.  Of course, he loved it!

(And yes, Emerson is wearing a sun shirt and swim trunks in these pictures.  It's March 2nd and 82°.  While it is Mississippi, we don't have any shorts to play outdoors in yet.)

The wagon is no longer my favorite.  I love the wheelbarrow!

Checking out the truck.

Checking on my Bronco.

Helping Daddy hammer the shutters.

Ready to work!

Good things happen when Daddy is home early.

Ohhh!  more sand!

Watching the airplane...

...it's heading towards the airport.

Doing our "down" sign

The neighbor's yard needs work too.

Waving to our neighbors across the street.

Helping Daddy with my sandbox prep.

Rolling around

Aww!  My boys in their Bomgar orange!
