Last year, staying in, staying comfortable and warm was the name of the game. Having a baby on the 6th of December tends to keep you inside. This year, I wanted to think of traditions we can enjoy through the years. Some we could start this year and others that might wait until next.
One of the traditions that first came to mind was going to Canton to see the Christmas lights. You hear about people going to Canton to see the lights, yet Bryant nor his sisters had ever been. Knowing that, we had to check it out. But going by yourself is never as much fun as going with a group. So on Wednesday (14th) we met, Aunt Reagan, Aunt Lane, Ellington, Grams, and Pop in Canton to enjoy the show.
It was so much fun to have everyone there! The weather was fantastic and most importantly, Ellington and Emerson loved the rides. We rode the carousel, the cars, and the train around the square. Afterwards, we took a stroll around the outside of the square to look in all the shop windows at the fun displays. Before we left, we took a close up look at all the lights in the square and even got to see the big tree flash it's lights in time to A Charlie Brown Christmas' theme!
In the rush to get out the door, we forgot Daddy's camera that's much better in low light than Mommy's. But here's our Canton adventure...and I promise Lane and Reagan were there, but all the pictures of them are blurry. :(
